FAIRTRADE FORTNIGHT

1st –13th March 2005

This is the time when we try extra hard to get people to understand the benefits of Fairtrade.

We already have lots of ideas including giving out 10,000 free Fairtrade magazines in Portsmouth, organising stalls and tastings and taking part in a Fairtrade survey.

We’ve got a breakfast for local businesses and a Fairtrade coffee morning for community groups with George Alagaiah (BBC Six o’clock news and Patron of the Fairtrade Foundation) and Simeon Greene (Windward Bananas)

We’re also organising an art competition together with the Lodge Arts Centre in Victoria Park Find out More
