Portsmouth Fairtrade Forum is a group of people working to promote Fairtrade in the City

                                           Visit the Fairtrade Foundation's web site for a list of Fairtrade towns and the criteria for Fairtrade town status 

We meet at Portsmouth Civic Offices each month

• Together with Portsmouth City Council we've achieved  Fairtrade City status for the City.

        We're planning lots of events for Fairtrade Fortnight

•  
• We've helped produce articles for lots of magazines and newsletters.
•  
• We've spoken to lots of different groups
•  
• We've held stalls at local events and put up displays
•  
• We've organised some public meetings
•  
• We're doing surveys of shops, cafes, hotels and guest houses, to find out which ones use Fairtrade products.
•  
• We've produced a window sticker for businesses to show they sell or use Fairtrade products

       We're helping local schools and churches to get Fairtrade status
